Many times when you’re about to begin a large construction project it seems overwhelming. Gagne Construction has extensive experience building in the Anna Maria Island/Longboat Key area and can make what could be a confusing process a smooth one. To help you navigate the beginning stages of your project, here are some frequently asked questions and answers:
1. Are we right for you?

Each member of our team is extensively involved in all aspects of every project. We pride ourselves on building relationships with our clients that enable us to help them fulfill their wishes and desires for their Anna Maria Island or Longboat Key dream home.
2. How long does a project take?
Every project is unique, so this timeline will vary from project to project. Issues concerning design, engineering, permitting, and interior finishes can all impact the amount of time it takes to complete a project.
3. Who handles the permitting/coding?
Gagne Construction works closely with all of the local building departments to handle all of the permitting issues.
4. Does Gagne have an in-house Architect?
Gagne Constuction provides architectural services.
5. Does Gagne offer Interior Design Services?
Gagne Construction works with many designers in the Anna Maria Island and Longboat Key areas.
6. How does the process start?
At our first meeting we will talk about everything from floor plans to interior finishes and outdoor living spaces. We will then develop a conceptual sketch based on our discussion and talk about an estimated budget. Once the floor plan is finalized we will provide you with an Architect’s color rendering of the front elevation. The next step is moving forward with a firm starting budget.
